Luke 17:26 As it was in the days of * Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
* Noe is the New Testament Greek rendering of the name Noah, since the New Testament was written in Greek, NOT Hebrew.
Luke 17:27 - They [the wicked] did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that [Noah] Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
So who was taken? Who was left behind?
ALL the wicked were taken in the flood and drowned and the righteous Noah and his family were the ones who were left behind at the end of the flood.
Luke 17:28 - Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luke 17:29 - But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
So who was taken? Who was left behind? Lot was left behind and Sodom and Gomorrah were burned with fire and brimstone to ashes. Lot was left alive...
Luke 17:30 - Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Just remember that
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
The meek shall be LEFT BEHIND.
THE WICKED SHALL BE TAKEN....AND BURNED
Psalms 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
