today's bible study is going to be on

the mysteries of God there are actually
a few mysteries in the Bible this
specific one is going to be on the
church do you know that the church was
in the wilderness with Moses if you
believe Stephen you know he actually
mentioned that the church was in the
wilderness with Moses when they crossed
over out of Egypt how can that be hmm so
let me let me well we'll get back to
that please turn your Bibles to mark 4
and in mark for we read as follows in
mark for let's see mark verse 1 and he
Jesus began again to teach by the
seaside and there was gathered unto him
a great multitude so that he entered
into a ship and sat in the sea and the
whole multitude was by the sea on the
land any puck and he taught them many
things by parables and said unto them in
his doctrine ha so Jesus has his
doctrine ok and then he proceeds to tell
them the parable of the sower ok and
then after he gets done telling him
jesus said and he said unto them he that
hath ears to hear let him hear that's in
verse 9 4
10 and when he was alone they that were
about him with the 12 asked him of the
parable and he jesus said unto them unto
you it is given to know the mystery the
mystery of the kingdom of God but unto
them that are without all these things
are done in parables that seeing they
may not see and not perceive and hearing
they may hear and not understand lest at
any time they should be converted and
their sins should be forgiven them and
he said unto them know ye not this
parable and how then will you know all
parables so you know here it is jesus
said that they would see but not
perceived they wouldn't understand and
hearing they'd hear it but they wouldn't
understand lest at any time they should
be converted and their sins should be
forgiven them ok so Jesus hid the
mysteries of God in his parables ha that
is uh and not everybody according to
Jesus would have ears to hear and eyes
to see ok so let's take a look at some
of the other places where we have the
mysteries of God ok turn your Bibles to
Roman 1125 for I would not brethren that
ye should be ignorant of this mystery
lest G be wise in your own conceits that
blindness in part has happened to Israel
until the fullness
of the Gentiles be come in now in the
Old Testament the word Gentile is
sometimes translated the same word is
sometimes translated Gentile and
sometimes it's translated nation or
nations or gentiles depending upon fit
singular or plural okay and in the greek
where this word is it comes from the
word ethnos which is where we get the
word ethnic you have ever heard of an
ethnic group you know Africans Asians
Europeans their ethnic groups okay and
Romans 1625 now to him that is of power
to establish you according to my gospel
and the preaching of Jesus Christ
according to the revelation of the
mystery which was kept secret since the
world began you know it was a mystery at
least a Satan Jesus being the lamb slain
the sinless lamb slain before the
foundation of the world because of Satan
would have known that Jesus was going to
be the sinless Lamb the sacrifice Satan
would never have had Jesus put to death
never would he wouldn't you okay
first Corinthians 27 but we speak the
wisdom of God in a mystery even the
hidden wisdom which God ordained before
the world unto our glory ha first
Corinthians 41 let a man so account of
us as of the ministers of Christ and
stewards of the mysteries of God okay
Ephesians 3 4 whereby when you read ye
may ye may understand my knowledge in
the mystery of Christ Ephesians 39 and
to make all men see what is the
fellowship of the mystery which from the
beginning of the world have been hid in
God who created all things by Jesus
Christ okay Ephesians 5 32 please listen
carefully I'm going to read this twice
this is a great mystery but I speak
concerning Christ and the church see the
church is a great mystery to many most i
should say most okay this is a great
mystery but i speak concerning christ
and the church Colossians 126 even the
mystery which hath been hid from ages
and from generations and now is made
manifest to his Saints to whom god would
make known what is the riches of the
glory of this mystery among the Gentiles
or nations which is Christ in you the
hope of glory
Colossians 2 2 that their hearts might
be comforted being knit together in love
you know love is very air love is very
important you know people talk about the
commandments of God well you know the 10
commandments of 10 commandments how
about the two commandments the lord
jesus said love the Lord God and to love
your neighbor and he says in that hang
all the law and the prophets so love
pretty important Colossians 2 2 that
their hearts might be comforted being
nipped together in love and unto all
riches of the full assurance of
understanding to the acknowledgment of
the mystery of God and of the Father and
of Christ Colossians 43 with all praying
also for us that God would open unto us
a door of utterance to speak the mystery
of Christ for which I am also in bonds
first Timothy 39 holding the mystery of
the faith in a pure conscious conscience
first timothy three sixteen this is one
of my favorite verses in the Bible you
know people say religions controversial
no it's not and without controversy
great is the mystery of godliness God
was manifest in the flesh justified in
the spirit seen of angels preached unto
the Gentiles believed on in the world
received up into glory
I just I love that verse okay revelation
120 the mystery of the seven stars which
thou sawest in my right hand and the
seven golden candlesticks the seven
stars are the angels of the seven
churches in the Seven candlesticks which
thou sawest are the seven churches
revelation 10-7 but in the days of the
voice of its seventh angel when he shall
begin to sound the mystery of God should
be finished as he hath declared to his
servants the prophets let you know a
little secret when the seventh angel
sounds the horn the trumpet it's over
buddy that's it it's the kingdom time
it's the be the thousand-year millennial
reign of Christ a lot of people don't
know it but that's when the actual
rapture happens although they'll fight
and complain and say it's wrong but at
the seventh trumpet okay
all right now let's go back and find out
about the mystery of the church in the
Old Testament all right let's find the
mystery of the church in the wilderness
turn your Bibles to Acts chapter 7 and
let's see where do we want to start okay
here we go um let's start verse 33 well
now maybe not hold on it looks like I'm
gonna be doing some reading in Acts
chapter 6 Stephen is disputing with the
Jews and his face the Bible records how
his face shone as an angel and Stephens
going to give them a little bit of a
history lesson which they know pretty
well Stephen speaking and he said men
brethren and fathers hearken the god of
glory appeared unto our father Abraham
when he was in Mesopotamia before he
dwelt in Tehran and said unto Him get
the out of my country and from thy
kindred and come into the land which I
shall show thee and my little note here
God chose Abraham so God made a choice
and Abraham but Abraham also made a
choice Abraham could have stuck up his
middle finger and said yep you know you
get the general idea but instead in
faith he decided to go where the Lord
had sent him okay verse 4 then came he
Abraham out of the land of the child
ians and dwelt in char on and from fence
when his father was dead he removed him
into this land wherein ye now dwell and
he gave none inheritance in it no not so
much as to set his foot on it yet he
promised that he would give it to him
for a position and to his seed his
children his seed after him when is yet
he had no child little note here see
what the Lord makes a promise even
though in our minds it's impossible but
the Lord it's not so here it is Lords
promising Abraham and his seed he would
give the land as a possession and
Abraham hadn't even had a child yet so
he knows the future as well as the
present okay continued verse 6 and God
spake on this wise that his seed should
sojourn in a strange land and that they
should bring them into bondage and
entreat them evil 400 years and the
nation to whom they shall be in bondage
will I judge said God and after that
come forth and serve me in this place
they're talking about Egypt you know the
Passover and he gave him the Covenant of
circumcision and so Abraham begat Isaac
ok Abraham had two children by the way
he had Ishmael and Isaac but Isaac was
to be the chosen seed God chose Isaac
not Ishmael Ishmael I did an in-depth
study of well not an in-depth study but
I did a study on it Ishmael was the
father of many of the Arabs okay and he
gave him the Covenant of circumcision
and so Abraham begat Isaac and
circumsized him on the eighth day and
Isaac began jacob and jacob begat the
twelve patriarchs just little note jacob
became Israel God changed his named
Israel and Jacob had twelve sons which
became the twelve tribes okay verse 9
and the patriarchs moved within the sold
Joseph into Egypt but God was with him
and delivered him out of all his
afflictions and gave him favor in wisdom
and the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt
and made him governor over Egypt and all
his house ok
alright skip to verse 17 but when the
time of the promised drew nigh which God
had sworn to Abraham the people grew and
multiplied in Egypt till another king
arose which knew not Joseph the same
dealt subtly with our tendra and evil
entreated our fathers so that they cast
out their young children to the end that
they might not live and if you don't
know what they're talking about here you
need to get rid of Genesis and Exodus
very important next verse in which time
Moses was born and was exceeding fair
and nourished up in his father's house
three months and when he was cast out
Pharaoh's daughter took him up and
nourished him for her own son and Moses
was learned in all the wisdom of the
Egyptians and was mighty in words and in
deeds and when he was full 40 years old
it came into his heart to visit his
brethren the children of Israel and
seeing one of them suffer wrong he
defended him and avenged him that was
oppressed and smote the Egyptian for he
supposed his brother and would have
understood how that God by his hand
would deliver them but they understood
not and the next day he showed himself
unto them as they strove and would have
set them at one and again saying serves
your brethren why do you wrong one to
another but he did but he that did his
neighbor wrong thrust him away saying
who hath maybe a ruler and a judge over
us wilt thou kill me as thou did us the
Egyptian yesterday then Moses fled at
the saying it was a stranger in the land
of
Medean Midian where he begat two sons
and when 40 years were expired there
appeared to him in the wilderness of
Mount Sinai an angel of the Lord in a
flame of fire in a bush when Moses saw
it he wondered at the site and as he
drew near to it as he drew near to
behold it the voice of the Lord came
unto him saying I am the God of my
father's the God of Abraham and the god
of Isaac and the God of Jacob then Moses
trembled and Durst not behold then said
the Lord to him put off thy shoes from
my feet for the place where thou
standest is holy ground I have seen I
have seen the affliction of my people
which is in Egypt and I've heard their
groaning and I'm come down to deliver
them and now come i will send thee into
Egypt this is this Moses whom they
refused saying who may be a ruler and a
judge the same did God send to be a
ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the
angel which appeared to him in the bush
he brought them out after that he had
showed saw wonders and signs in the land
of Egypt and in the Red Sea and in the
wilderness 40 years this is that Moses
which said unto the children of Israel a
prophet shall the Lord your God raise up
unto you of your brethren like unto me
yeah
shall ye here listen carefully this is
he that was in the church in the
wilderness with the angel which speak to
him in the Mount Sinai and with our
fathers who received the lively Oracle's
to give unto us okay let me read that
again acts 738 this is he that was in
the church in the wilderness with the
angel which speak to him in the Mount
Sinai and with our fathers who received
the lively Oracle's to give unto us to
whom our fathers would not obey but
thrust him from him and in their hearts
turned back again into Egypt saying unto
Aaron make us God's to go before us for
as for this Moses which brought us out
of the land of Egypt we want not what
has become of him and they made a cap in
those days and offered sacrifice under
the idol and rejoiced in the work of
their own hands huh then God turned and
gave them up to worship the host of
heaven they're referring to Satanism
here by the way as it is written in the
book of the prophets o ye house of
Israel have you offered to me slain
beasts and sacrifices by the space of
forty years in the wilderness yay he
took up the tabernacle of Moloch if you
don't know what Moloch um was a evil
satanic deity probably one of Satan's
angels and they used to sacrifice their
children and run them through the fire
to honor Moloch okay he took up the
tabernacle of Moloch and the star of
your God REM fam figures which he made
two worship them and I will carry you
away beyond Babylon for those of you
that don't know it the star of your God
REM femme take a look at the Israeli
flag if you want to see what the star of
rough at REM fram is the six-pointed
star the star of your god REM fram
figures which he made two worship them
and I will carry you away beyond Babylon
ok so isn't that interesting the church
was in the wilderness in Mount Sinai
with Moses and the children of Israel
isn't that wild acts 738 ok but if
you've ever read the book of Exodus be
children of Israel they didn't want to
follow Moses they didn't want to follow
God they wanted to do all the stuff the
evil stuff that they learned in Egypt ok
tabernac of Moloch ah and the Lord put
up with this stuff for 40 years they
made a golden calf sacrificed unto idols
you know and for those of you that don't
know it well let me hold a second here
you know um I got another point I wanted
to make dispensational people that are
dispensationalists
you know they say that the church was
started on the day of Pentecost but do
you know that we just read in the Bible
it says that Israel was the church in
the wilderness you know Israel is the
root of the New Testament church can you
believe that let's prove it all right
think about this if you really I've got
a couple studies on it but Israel and
Judah okay there were twelve tribes
there were the ten northern tribes of
Israel and then there were there with
southern tribes which was Judah and Levi
Levi was the priesthood Judah was the
Kings ok Christ is descended from the
tribe of Judah okay Levi was to be the
priests Moses and Aaron were of the
tribe of Levi ok now the northern tribes
you had let's see Dan not till I um
Joseph oh let's see oh there's there's I
can't name them all right now I'd have
to look them all up but they were if you
notice they fell into apostasy first
they were taken well Israel and Judah
were divided kingdoms after Solomon okay
King David came the United Kingdom
Solomon came a United seen'em Kingdom
after Solomon died his son took over
then the kingdom was divided
northern Israel fell into apostasy okay
and God divorced the Northern Kingdom
and let them go into a Syrian captivity
where they never returned to the land
never now want me to prove it let me
prove that God divorced Israel okay turn
your Bible to Jeremiah verse 3 I'm sorry
chapter 3 and verse 8 and I saw win for
all the causes whereby backsliding
Israel committed adultery spiritual
adultery I had put her away and given
her a bill of divorce yet her
treacherous sister Judah feared not but
went and played the harlot a harlots a
whore but went and played the harlot
also okay so here it is God gave Israel
a bill of divorce he divorced her you're
out of here I'm not your husband so
when's the last time you've heard that
in church never especially if you go to
John Hagee's church all right let's
continue reading Jeremiah chapter 3 and
verse 9 and it came to pass through the
lightness of her whoredom we're talking
about Judah that she defiled the land
and committed adultery with stones and
with stocks and yet for all this her
treacherous sister Judah hath not turned
unto me with her whole heart but fainted
ly say at the Lord
and the Lord said unto me the
backsliding Israel has justified herself
more than treacherous Judah now isn't it
in Demon's nomination alloys demon
nomination nomination alloys don't they
always say they use the term Judah and
Israel like they mean the same thing but
doesn't mean the same thing to the Bible
here alright verse 12 so Israel
backsliding Israel has justified herself
more than treacherous Judah go and
proclaim these words toward the north
and say return val backsliding Israel
saith the Lord and I will not cause mine
anger to fall upon you for I am merciful
saith the Lord and I will not keep anger
forever only acknowledge thine iniquity
that bow has transgressed against the
LORD thy God and half and has scattered
thy ways to the strangers under every
Green Tree and ye have not obeyed my
voice saith the Lord when they talk
about under every Green Tree they had
nature worshippers back then you know
like Al Gore verse 14 turn Oh
backsliding children saith the Lord for
I am married unto you and I will take
you one of a city and two of a family
and I will bring you to zion and i will
give you pastors not pastures that cows
graze on but pastures like ministers and
i will give you pastures according to my
heart which shall feed you with
knowledge and understanding
ha ok ok let's skip to verse 18 in those
days the house of Judah shall walk with
the house of Israel and they shall come
together out of the land of the north to
the land that I have given for an
inheritance unto your father's what land
is north of Israel last I checked it was
Europe ok Europe is north so what does
he mean he's gonna they shall come
together out of the land of the north oh
ok
ok so in Jeremiah 38 we see where God
divorce Israel in ossia 223 we read well
let's read verse hostia 219 and I will
patrol the unto me forever yay I will
patrol thee unto me and righteousness
and in judgment and in loving kindness
and in Mercy's I will even betrothed
thee unto me and faithfulness and thou
shalt know the Lord and it shall come to
pass in that day I will hear saith the
Lord and I will hear the heavens and
they shall hear the earth and the earth
shall hear the corn and the wine and the
oil and they shall hear just real and I
will sew her unto me in the earth and I
will have mercy upon her that had not
obtained mercy and I will say to them
which were not my people thou art my
people and they shall say thou art my
god alright let's go back to Jeremiah 31
let's see verse Jeremiah 31 31 behold
the day's come saith the Lord that I
will make a new covenant with the house
of Israel and with the house of Judah
not according to the Covenant that I
made with their fathers in the day that
I took them by the hand to bring them
out of the land of Egypt which my
covenant they break although I was an
husband unto them saith the Lord but
this shall be the Covenant that I will
make with the house of Israel after
those days saith the Lord
I will put my law in their inward parts
and we'll write it in their hearts and
will be their God and they shall be my
people and they shall teach no more
every man his neighbor and every man his
brother saying know the Lord for they
shall all know me from the least of them
unto the greatest of them saith the Lord
for I will forgive their iniquity and I
will remember their sin no more boy is
that a promise or what that is one
unbelievable promise and I will remember
their sin no more now is there a new
testament witness to this yep sure is
Hebrews 88 and for those who don't know
it Paul is probably the author of
Hebrews um you know but that's another
study okay for finding fault with them
he saith behold the day's come saith the
Lord when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the
house of Judah Hebrews eight their team
and in that he saith a new covenant he
hath made the first old now that which
decay Athene waxeth old is ready to
vanish away hebrews 12 24 and to Jesus
the mediator of the New Covenant and to
the blood of sprinkling sprinkling he
speaketh better things than that of Abel
isn't that pretty wonderful Jesus is the
mediator of the New Covenant Hebrews 13
20 now the God of peace that brought
again from the dead our lord jesus that
great Shepherd of the sheep through the
blood of the everlasting covenant hmm
in Malachi 31 I believe this is speaking
of John the Baptist behold I will send
my messenger and he shall prepare the
way before me and the Lord whom you seek
shall suddenly come to his temple even
the messenger of the Covenant whom he
delight and behold he shall come saith
the Lord of hosts Luke 172 to perform
the mercy promised to our fathers and to
remember his holy Covenant acts 325 ye
are the children of the prophets and of
the Covenant which God made with our
fathers saying unto Abraham and in thy
seed shall all the Kindred's of the
earth be blessed Romans 11 27 for this
is my covenant unto them when I shall
take away their sins huh
remember in Jeremiah it said the Lord
said he'd put the laws in their hearts
listen to this Hebrews 810 for this is
the Covenant that I will make with the
house of Israel after those days saith
the Lord I will put my laws into their
mind and write them in their hearts and
I will be to them a god and they shall
be to me a people okay Luke 22 20
remember the Lord's Supper when Jesus
was eating the last supper with his
disciples likewise also the cup after
the supper saying this cup is the New
Testament in my blood which is shed for
you in first Corinthians 10 16 the cup
of blessing which we bless is it not the
communion of the blood of Christ the
bread which we break is it not the
communion of the body of Christ first
Corinthians 11 25 after the same manner
also he took the cup when he had supped
saying this cup is the New Testament in
my blood this do ye as oft as you drink
it in remembrance of me all right turn
to Ephesians chapter 2 verse 11 now
remember the word Gentiles just means
nation or Nations wherefore remember
that ye being in time past Gentiles in
the flesh who are called uncircumcision
by that which is called the circumcision
in the in the flesh made by hands that
at that time year were ye were without
Christ being aliens from the
Commonwealth of Israel
strangers from the covenants of promise
having no hope and without God in the
world but now in Christ Jesus ye who
sometimes were a far off are made nigh
by the blood of Christ for he is our
peace who hath made both one and hath
broken down the middle wall of partition
between us having abolished in his flesh
the enmity or hatred even the law of
Commandments contained in ordinances for
two making himself of Twain to one new
man so making peace that he might
reconcile both unto God in one body by
the cross having slain the enmity
thereby and came and preached peace to
you which were afar off and to them that
were nigh for through him we both have
access by one spirit unto the father now
therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners but fellow citizens with the
Saints and of the household of God and
are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and the prophets Jesus Christ
Himself being the chief Cornerstone okay
in whom all the building fitly framed
together groweth unto an holy temple in
the Lord in whom ye are also builded
together for inhabitation of God through
the spirit ok let's look at Ephesians 33
by revelation he made known unto me the
mystery which in other ages was not made
known unto the sons of men
as it is now revealed unto his holy
apostles and prophets by the spirit that
the Gentiles the nations should be
fellow heirs and of the same body and
partaker of his promising Christ by the
gospel let's see that was Ephesians 33
and then five and six Romans 49 through
17 cometh this blessedness then upon the
circumcision only or upon the
uncircumcision also for we say that
faith was reckoned to Abraham for
righteousness how was it then reckoned
when he was in circumcision or in or in
uncircumcision not uncircumcision but in
uncircumcision for he hath received the
sign of circumcision a seal of the
righteousness of the faith which he had
yet being uncircumcised that he might be
the father of all them that believe
Abraham the father of all them that
believe though they be not circumsized
the righteousness might be imputed unto
them also and the father of circus asian
to them who are not of the circumcision
only but who also walk in the steps of
that faith of our father Abraham when he
was yet I'm sorry when he had being yet
uncircumcised for the promise that he
should be the heir of the world was not
to Abraham or to his seed through the
law but through the righteousness of
faith for if they which are of the law
be heirs faith is made void and the
promise made of none effect because the
law worketh
bath for where no law is there is no
transgression therefore it is of faith
that it might be by grace to the end the
promise might be sure to all the seed
not to that only which is of the law but
to that also which is of the faith of
Abraham who is the father of us all as
it is written I have made the a father
of many nations before him who he
believed before whom he believed even
God who quickeneth the death and call it
those things which be not as though they
were okay
um just for you know to know the
dispensationalists teach that the Jews
and the Christians are two different
things the church the Jews and the
church they stitch or two different
things okay so let's take a look a few
things in Hosea 1 verse 10 promised
Israel yet the number of the children of
Israel shall be as the sand of the sea
which cannot be measured or numbered and
it shall come to pass in the place where
it was said to them ye are you are not
my people okay the children of Israel
you are not my people there it shall be
said to them ye are the sons of the
Living God alright let's see the
fulfillment the promise was to Israel
but let's see the fulfillment of this
promise in the church turn to Romans
22: 26

hello this is going to be part two of
mystery of God the church in the Old
Testament I had a problem with part one
it saved
I must have clicked the wrong button or
something because it saved I thought I'd
lost it but this is gonna be part two
I'm gonna make I'm gonna do this same
study again and rename it so it'll be
the basically the church fulfills the
promises of Israel so let's continue
with part two of the mystery of God the
church found in the Old Testament so
this is actually a condemnation of
dispensational theology because if we
could find that the church is fulfilling
Israel's promises in the Old Testament
as contained in the promise of a New
Testament then dispensational theology
that says that the church in Israel are
two separate entities is going to be
proven false all right let's read a
promise made to Israel this is in if you
get out your Bible this will be in Hosea
chapter one and verse 10 Hosea is one of
the minor prophets
okay let's start yet the number of the
children of Israel shall be as the sand
of the sea which cannot be measured or
numbered and it shall come to pass where
it was said to them you are not my
people there it shall be said to them
you are the sons of the Living God okay
now if you read in China the part 1 of
this study the
God said he divorced Israel I believe it
was Jeremiah 38 38 God divorced Israel
all right so does this scripture get
fulfilled in the church turn to Romans
let's see Romans
okay Romans 9 starting at 22 this is the
fulfillment in the church here we go
what if God wanting to show his wrath
and to make his power known endured with
much suffering the vessels of Wrath
prepared for destruction that he might
make known the riches of his glory on
the vessels of Mercy which he had
prepared beforehand for glory even us
whom he called not of the Jews only but
also of the Gentiles and that word
Gentile just means nation okay as he
says also in Hosea I will call them my
people who were not my people and her
beloved were beloved who was not beloved
and it shall come to pass in the place
where it was said to them you were not
my people there they shall be called
sons of the Living God
okay another promised Israel cocea 2:23
then I will sow her for myself in the
earth and I will have mercy on her who
had not mercy then I will say to those
who were not my people you are my people
and they shall say you are my god okay
that's hosi a 2:23 now turn to first
Peter chapter 2 verse 9 fulfillment in
the church
all right let's take a look uh in
Deuteronomy 14 - I'm sorry this is what
he promised Israel for thou art and holy
people unto the Lord thy God and a LORD
hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people
unto himself above all the nations that
are upon the earth okay now let's see
where this applies in the New Testament
1st Peter 2:9 but ye are a chosen
generation a royal priesthood an holy
nation a peculiar people that ye should
show forth the praises of him who hath
called you out of darkness into his
marvelous light
okay another promised Israel
Amos 911 on that day I will raise up the
tabernacle of David which has fallen
down and repair its damages and I will
raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in
the days of old let's see the
fulfillment in the church
let's see acts 15 starting in 14 Simon
has declared how God at the first
visited the Gentiles or the nations to
take out of them a people for his name
and by the way the word Gentile does not
mean non Jew it just means nation that's
all it means
okay you could be talking about Jewish
Gentiles okay I know the church world
has twisted everything but Gentile does
not mean non Jew okay God promised
Abraham to make of him a great nation
it's the same word Gentile sometimes
they translate it nations
they translated Gentile can you imagine
if the translators would have been
consistent and said I'm gonna make of
Abraham I'm gonna make you a great
Gentile so alright so in Amos it's on
that day I will raise up the tabernacle
of David which is falling down and
repair its damages I will raise up its
ruins and rebuild it as in the days of
old and in acts 15 fors 14 Simon has
declared out how God at the first
visited the Gentiles to take out of them
people for his name and with this the
words of the prophets agree just as it
is written after this I will return and
will rebuild the tabernacle of David
which has fallen down I will rebuild its
ruins and I will set it up so that the
rest of mankind may seek the Lord even
all the Gentiles who are called by my
name says the Lord who does all these
things known to God from eternity or all
his works okay you know in the same
manner there are many Old Testament
passages referring to Israel that are in
the New Testament applied directly to
the church alright let's take a look at
Joel chapter 2 verse 28 spoken Israel
and it shall come to pass afterward that
I will pour out my spirit on all flesh
your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy your old men shall dream dreams
I guess I get to drain dreams your young
men shall see visions and also on my
men's servants and on my maid servants I
will pour out my spirit in those days
and I will show wonders in the heavens
and in the earth blood and fire and
pillars of smoke the Sun shall be turned
into darkness and the moon into blood
before the coming of the great
an awesome day of the Lord and it shall
come to pass that whosoever calls on the
name of the Lord shall be saved
for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there
shall be deliverance as the Lord has
said among the servants I'm sorry among
the remnant whom the Lord calls that's
Joel 2:28 now let's read Acts chapter 2
verses 1 and then 16 through 21 this is
applied to the church with a day of
Pentecost had fully had fully come they
were all of one Accord in one place but
this is what was spoken by the Prophet
Joel and it shall come to pass in the
last days says the Lord that I will pour
out my spirit on all flesh your sons and
your daughters shall prophesy your young
men shall see visions your old men shall
dream dreams and on my men servants and
on my maid servants I will pour out my
spirit in those days and they shall
prophesy I will show wonders in heaven
above and signs in the earth beneath
blood and fire and vapor of smoke the
Sun shall be turned into darkness and
the moon into blood before the coming of
the great and awesome day of the Lord
and it shall come to pass that whosoever
calls on the name of the Lord shall be
saved
ok spoken Israel Exodus 19:6 and you
shall be to me a kingdom of priests and
a holy nation these are the words which
yosh yeesh you shall speak to the
children of Israel Exodus 19:6
okay first Peter 2:9 applied to the
church but you are a chosen generation a
royal priesthood a holy nation his own
special people that you may proclaim the
praises of him who called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light okay
okay Ezekiel 37 27 my tabernacle also
shall be with them indeed I will be
their God and they shall be my people
spoken Israel right how about applied to
the church 2nd Corinthians 6:16 and what
agreement has the temple of God with
idols for you are the Temple of the
Living God as God has said I will dwell
in them and walk among them and I will
be their God and they shall be my people
spoken to Israel Leviticus 19 to speak
to all the congregation of the children
of Israel and say to them you shall be
holy for I the Lord your God am holy
applied to the church 1st Peter chapter
1 15 and 16 but as he who called you is
holy you also be holy in all your
conduct for it is written be holy for I
am holy
spoken Israel Jeremiah 31:31 behold the
days are coming says the Lord when I
will make a new covenant with the house
of Israel and with the house of Judah
you know there's a lot of people say Oh
Israel and Judah is the same thing no
it's not no it's not Lord makes a
distinction ok is this applied to the
church likewise oh I'm sorry Luke 22 and
20 likewise he also took the cup after
supper saying no this is Jesus talking
this cup is the New Testament is the New
Covenant in my blood which is shed for
you ok
see the New Testament is a really big
problem for the dispensationalists you
know because Jeremiah 31 the whole
chapter is addressed to Israel and
that's they can't deny that but yet the
new custom it cut the New Covenant the
New Testament is a very heart of gospel
yet it is the church that is fulfilling
fulfilling the promise made Israel under
the New Covenant
you know dispensationalism is dead
there's a guy that's named Ryrie he's a
big dispensationalists matter of fact if
you I think he wrote the book let's see
the book is a systematic theology by ry
RIE
and he made the statement if the church
does not have a new covenant then she is
fulfilling Israel's promises for it has
been clearly shown that the Old
Testament teaching on the new covenant
is that it is for Israel if if the
church is fulfilling Israel's promises
that's contained in the New Covenant or
anywhere else in the scriptures then
premillennialism dispensational
premillennialism is condemned one might
well ask why there are not two aspects
to the one New Covenant this is the
position held by many dispensationalists
but we agree that the amillennialist has
every right to say of this view that it
is a practical admission that the New
Covenant is fulfilled in and to the
church a millennial lists are people
that deny the thousand-year reign of
Christ okay they deny he's coming back
in power and glory to destroy Satan and
the beast and the false prophet and then
he's going to rule a reign for a
thousand years they don't believe that
Catholic Church is one of probably the
most famous one okay
I'll tell you what I think Galatians
3:29 sums it up best and if he be
Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed and
heirs according to the promise so just
remember the church seems to fulfill all
the promises that God made Israel all
right well this is the end of part 2 of
the mysteries of God the church found in
the Old Testament all blessings praise
glory and honor belongs to Jesus who is
the Christ his precious name we pray
Jesus name that is
