My Statement of Faith by Chaplain Bob Walker B. Th.
which is the Nicene Creed
the word Creed simply means I believe.

The Pope and the Vatican wants to make us believe that the Nicene Creed was created by them in Nicea. Nicea was a City in Greece and the creed was written in Greek and NOT IN LATIN. The same as the Greek New Testament. Rome was just one Church of many attending this Bible conference. The New Testament was originally written in Greek, not Hebrew and not Latin.

Baptists tell me this is a Catholic thing. I have an earned a masters degree from a Baptist Bible College. Yet some tell me this  creed is heresy. Yet I can defend every line from the King James Bible that I trust.

Many Baptists claim to believe the authorized King James 1611 Bible also.

Here is the ancient NICENE CREED:

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 8:6, James 2:19, John 1:1-3

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 5:4, John 1:14, John 3:16, John 1:1-3

Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 5:9, 1 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 1:23, Mark 15:15, John 21:14, Luke 22:69, 2 Thessalonians 1:7,8

And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father [and the Son]; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

Scriptures: John 15:26, John 16:13, John 14:26

And I believe one holy universal (not the Vatican or Rome) and apostolic Church.

[Ephesians 4:5]

I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Scriptures: Acts 19:4, Acts 22:16, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Mark 1:8, John 11:25, 1 Peter 1:3, Revelation 20:6
